Support
We’re a small team — real replies, no bots.
LoopIn helps friends keep a recurring plan without another group chat. If something in the app isn’t lining up, the topics below cover the usual fixes. Can’t find what you need? Email us and we’ll help you sort it out.
Still need help?
Send every support request to the same inbox. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Email [email protected]Account and sign-in
LoopIn uses Sign in with Apple — there is no LoopIn password. If you can’t get in, confirm you’re using the same Apple ID, that you’re signed into iCloud on the device, and that you have a network connection. Hide My Email addresses still work; just keep using the same Apple ID.
Profile and display name
Change the name people see from Settings in the app. That name is shown inside loops you belong to, not on a public directory. If a name looks wrong after signing in, update it once and pull to refresh your loops.
Home and this week
Home lists the loops you’re in for this week. If a loop is missing, check that it isn’t paused, that you still belong to it, and that you’re signed in. Pull down or reopen the app to sync. LoopIn does not show a public map of other people’s plans.
Creating or joining a loop
Create a loop with a name, cadence, weekday, time, and place, then share the invite link or code. To join, open a tryloopin.com/join link on your iPhone or enter the code in the app. If join fails, the code may be mistyped or the loop may have been deleted.
Hosting, invites, and Plus
The person who creates a loop is the host and can invite people, skip a date, or pass hosting. The free app keeps one active loop; LoopIn Plus keeps every dinner, run, and group. If Create is blocked, you may have hit that limit until you pause or delete a loop, or subscribe.
RSVPs and who is in
Open a loop and tap In, Maybe, or Out. That’s the weekly update — there is no walk check-in or route completion. If a reply doesn’t appear for someone else, they may not have opened the app yet, or reminders may still be waiting on their reply.
Safety, blocking, and reporting
Loops are private to people you invite. A host can remove someone who shouldn’t stay. If you received an invite you don’t recognize, don’t join, and forward the link to us. For anything urgent happening in person, contact local emergency services first. Email us for account or safety help.
Place, time, or reminders
Place is the text the host typed, not a live GPS pin. A host can change this week’s time or place without rewriting the whole loop. Reminders (with LoopIn Plus) go out two days before and the morning of, only if someone hasn’t replied. Check notification permission in iOS Settings if you expected a nudge and didn’t get one.
Privacy questions
See our Privacy Policy for what LoopIn stores, including Sign in with Apple, RSVPs, and invite links. Email us for anything specific to your account.
Reporting a bug
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead, along with your device model and iOS version if you can. Screenshots help a lot.
App Store billing
LoopIn Plus is billed and managed through the App Store, not by LoopIn directly. Use Restore purchases in the app, or your Apple ID subscription settings, to change or cancel. Google Play billing does not apply while LoopIn is iOS-first; the Play badge on the website is a placeholder.
