Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of the terms
By creating an account, installing LoopIn, or otherwise using the LoopIn app or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use LoopIn.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use LoopIn, and you must comply with any minimum age requirement set by the App Store and applicable law in your location. LoopIn is not directed at young children.
3. Account responsibilities
LoopIn accounts are created with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the information you add to your profile, for keeping your Apple ID and device secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Display names and profiles
Your display name is shown to people in loops you join or host. LoopIn does not currently offer public profiles or a public username directory. Do not choose a display name that impersonates another person or brand, or that is misleading, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights. We may ask you to change a name that violates these terms.
5. Private loops and invitations
A loop is a private, recurring plan for people you invite. There is no public Discover marketplace and no listing of walks, events, or strangers nearby. You may share an invite link or code with people you want to loop in. Anyone with the link may request to join that loop, so share invites only with people you trust. Hosts can manage membership of a loop they created.
6. Host and participant responsibilities
Hosting a loop means keeping the cadence, time, and place reasonably accurate, and communicating if a week is skipped or the plan changes. Joining a loop and tapping In means you intend to show up if you are able; tap Out or Maybe if your plans change. LoopIn does not supervise meetups, verify identities beyond Sign in with Apple, or guarantee that any plan will occur as described.
7. Acceptable use
When using LoopIn, you agree not to: harass, threaten, or endanger other users; create loops or invitations that are false, misleading, or used to advertise unrelated products; attempt to access another user’s account; scrape or interfere with the app or its servers; or use LoopIn for anything unlawful. LoopIn is not a group chat, game, or advertising platform.
8. Community safety
Loops are private to invited members. Anyone can report or block another member from within the app, and a host can remove a member from a loop. LoopIn has zero tolerance for harassment, threats, or abusive behavior — every report is reviewed, and violations result in enforcement action, up to and including removing content, removing a member, or terminating an account. For anything urgent or unsafe happening in person, contact local emergency services directly rather than relying on in-app tools. Email [email protected] if you need help with a safety or account concern. LoopIn is a small team without a staffed, around-the-clock moderation queue, but no report goes unreviewed.
9. Place and schedule information
LoopIn stores the weekday, time, and place name you or a host type for a loop — for example “Maya’s kitchen” or “River path.” It does not provide live maps, GPS tracking, or public meeting-point listings. You are responsible for using good judgment about what location details you share in a loop, including in invite links.
10. Health and activity information
LoopIn is a planning and RSVP app. It is not a medical device, fitness tracker, or source of medical advice. Some loops may involve walking, running, or other activity you arrange yourselves; those choices are yours. Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing any physical activity if you have a health condition.
11. Third-party services
LoopIn relies on third-party services to operate, including Sign in with Apple, Apple Push Notification service, the App Store (including in-app purchases for LoopIn Plus, where offered), optional Apple Calendar access on your device, and Cloudflare for the website, API, and data storage. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Intellectual property
LoopIn’s name, logo, and app design are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission. You keep ownership of the content you add, such as a loop name or RSVP note, and you grant us the license needed to display it to other members of that loop as part of operating the app.
13. Skips, pauses, and availability
Hosts may skip a date, pause a loop, change this week’s time or place, or delete a loop. Participants may leave a loop or change an RSVP. LoopIn does not guarantee that a listed week will happen or that every invited person will reply or attend.
14. Disclaimers
LoopIn is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Meeting other people and attending any plan carries inherent risk, and you use LoopIn and attend any meetup at your own risk.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoopIn and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, participation in a loop, or interaction with another user, including damages arising from a host’s or participant’s conduct.
16. Suspension and termination
We have zero tolerance for harassment, threats, and abusive behavior. We may suspend or terminate access to LoopIn — including removing content, removing a member from a loop, or disabling an account — for anyone who violates these terms, misuses invitations or membership tools, or is the subject of a substantiated report. You may stop using LoopIn and delete your account at any time, including from in-app settings or by contacting support.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as LoopIn’s features change. If we make a material change, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of LoopIn will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
19. Contact information
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
